Greetings Everyone!

As we head into another busy Holiday Season I hope this letter finds you all well. Despite the rough economic times, we've managed to have another busy and productive year at the farm. And we were especially blessed last Christmas with the arrival of a baby boy named Jorgen Keen Drent. He is bringing endless joy and lots of acrobatic energy to the farm.

We are in the midst of another splendid harvest at Blair Estate organic coffee farm, which is now grown under the shade of a fully developed gliricidia grove. The summer growing season for tobacco has been wet, to say the least, but we've managed to meet our harvest quota. In 2009, and for the first time in over 150 years, we plan on releasing the Grand Alii cigar which will be 100% grown and made in Kauai.

Demand for our 100% Kona coffee is as high as ever, and our custom roasted international coffee continues to support the brewing efforts of many of Kauai's premier coffee shops.
